About Dave McMullen
Hey there, I'm Dave McMullen, and hockey has been a major part of my life, shaping who I am today.
Back in my playing days, I had the honor of being drafted into the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), a dream come true for any young hockey player. I proudly represented teams like the Niagara IceDogs and Kingston Frontenacs, where I learned invaluable lessons both on and off the ice.
While hockey was a big part of my life, I also knew the importance of education. So, alongside chasing my dreams on the rink, I pursued a degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Lethbridge. Balancing hockey and academics wasn't easy, but it taught me discipline and time management skills that have served me well in life.
After hanging up my skates, I ventured into the business world as President of SportsHeadz, a tech company based in Kingston, Ontario. As President of SportsHeadz, I've had the opportunity to combine my passion for hockey with my entrepreneurial spirit, developing innovative solutions to enhance the sports experience for athletes, coaches, and fans alike.
Additionally, I've continued my involvement in hockey through scouting for the OHL, using my knowledge and passion for the game to spot talent and help shape the future of hockey. It's been rewarding seeing young players develop and thrive in the sport I love.
But my commitment to hockey doesn't stop there. I'm deeply involved in the Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association, coaching and mentoring young athletes. There's something truly special about passing on what I've learned and watching these kids grow and succeed on the ice.
Hockey isn't just a game to me—it's a way of life. And I'm grateful for every moment I've had in this incredible sport, both as a player and now as an entrepreneur and mentor, contributing to its growth and success.
About Eric Lalonde
Hey there, I'm Eric Lalonde, and my journey in hockey and beyond has been a rewarding adventure.
Before my coaching career at the Royal Military College (RMC), I had the privilege of playing with the Kingston Voyageurs, a pivotal chapter in my hockey career. Representing the Voyageurs was a dream come true, and it laid the foundation for my future endeavors both on and off the ice.
As an alumnus of the Royal Military College, I've always valued discipline and dedication, traits that were further instilled in me during my time at RMC. While pursuing my academic studies, I continued to pursue my passion for hockey, representing the college with pride both on the ice and in the classroom.
After completing my studies at RMC, I transitioned into a coaching role, joining the coaching staff of the RMC hockey team. Coaching at my alma mater is a true honor, allowing me to give back to the institution that has shaped me into the person I am today.
In addition to my coaching responsibilities at RMC, I'm proud to be a product of the Kingston area minor hockey scene. Growing up, I learned the fundamentals of the game and developed a love for hockey that has stayed with me throughout my life.
Beyond hockey, my time at RMC instilled in me a sense of duty and service, which I've carried into my coaching career. Whether on the ice or in my role as a mentor, I strive to embody the values of integrity, teamwork, and perseverance that I learned during my time at RMC.
As a Kingston Voyageurs alum, RMC graduate, and coach, I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and the people I've met along the way. Hockey has been more than just a game to me—it's been a journey of growth, friendship, and passion that continues to inspire me every day.
